Fans hopes to enjoy pair of F1 experiences

Manama : Race fans hoping to enjoy a pair of all-new Formula 1 Experiences at the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix have an extra day on Tuesday to ensure their participation in Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) “F1 Added Value” raffle.

Twenty lucky winners will be drawn in the raffle for the unique opportunity to be a part of the Formula 1 Truck Tour and Paddock Tour. Both are taking place for the first time ever at the Bahrain Grand Prix spectacle, scheduled for April 6 to 8 in Sakhir.

The “F1 Added Value” raffle is exclusive to Main Grandstand and Turn One Grandstand ticket holders. All those who have already purchased their tickets for either stand have automatically been entered in the raffle. Fans will have to buy their tickets by Tuesday in order to be included.

Winners will be drawn randomly and they will be announced on Wednesday through BIC’s social media accounts and its website. Winners will also be contacted by telephone.

The Formula 1 Truck Tour will be taking place on the Thursday of the Grand Prix weekend, while the Paddock Tour will be held on the Friday.

The Formula 1 Truck Tour and Paddock Tour are a part of new initiatives that aim to bring fans closer to the sport through a series of unforgettable experiences. The Truck Tour offers a parade around the circuit in open-top buses while the Paddock Tour brings fans into the heart of the venue during the race weekend.

Meanwhile, all those with tickets to the Main Grandstand and Turn One Grandstand will also be automatically entered into a raffle for a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Four lucky winners will be drawn in this first-of-its-kind raffle. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix at Baku City Circuit in Baku will be from April 27 to 29.

All those who have yet to buy their tickets to BIC’s Main Grandstand or Turn One Grandstand, or for those who would like to make an upgrade for previously purchased tickets to other grandstands, must do so on or before the April 7 deadline in order to be included in the raffle.
