Family fun for all at Village vending area
Manama : BIC is all geared up to bring a crowd-pleasing entertainment programme to the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Each year, BIC makes it a point to have the best off-track attractions available for the whole family to enjoy.
This is no different in 2018, and come this Friday to Sunday, race-goers will have plenty to look forward to on all three days at the track.
Located in the F1 Village vending area, the packed programme of attractions includes live concerts featuring international superstar artists, extreme rides that offer the ultimate thrill, stage shows and roaming performers that can make anyone smile, and a kids’ area that will be a favourite for all youngsters attending with their families.
The live concerts over the weekend will showcase various genres of world-class music. They are set to include shows by legendary musician Carlos Santana, popular singer-songwriter Benjamin Booker and electronic dance music duo Disclosure. Santana will be taking to the stage on the Friday night, while Benjamin Booker and Disclosure will be putting on back-to-back shows on Saturday night.
The extreme rides will feature a trio of adrenaline-pumping activities that are not for the faint-hearted. They include a Reverse Bungee, a SCAD (Suspended Catch Air Device) Freefall and a Sky Coaster.
There will surely get your heart racing and are a must-try for all thrill-seekers brave enough to take on the experience.
There will also entertainment throughout each of the three days on the BIC’s Main Stage as well as through roaming acts that include street musicians, dancers and all sorts of other performers.
