Arabian MEP Conference Kickstarts
Manama : Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf inaugurated the seventh edition of the Arabian MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) Conference and Exhibition, yesterday which is being held at the Bahrain International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The conference which will run until the 5th of April highlights all the recent and innovative updates in the field and also sheds light on green technology and its uses; transforming buildings into environment-friendly green buildings.
The Minister reiterated the importance of applying sustainable building techniques in order to limit the impact of climate changes, provide a better environment that maintains economic and environmental balance and provide a better life for future generations.
Gaurav Bhasin, organiser of the conference told DT News, “This is the seventh edition of the conference and a lot has changed in means of technology. We see that every three or four months a change in technology in terms of mechanical electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, where there is an innovation of new techniques. Furthermore, new concepts have come into the picture which is what we are focusing on this edition.”
“We are focusing on the shift from the conventional use of energy to the new ways of using energy especially solar,” Gaurav added.
