Futsal in line with HM King’s vision

ManamaHH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), affirmed that the first-ever Bahrain International Futsal Challenge which kicked off on March 30 and went on for continuous 24 hours was online with vision of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to gather young people from different walks of life. 

HH Shaikh Nasser stated that the Entry of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Guinness record books is a fruition of HM the King’s support to sports.

“Recording a new time of 23:45:08 hours in the Challenge en route to enable Bahrain secures a Guinness world records title confirms the Kingdom’s unique position at sports level. Moreover, it stresses the role of Bahraini youth in the success of all sports activities and functions,” HH Shaikh Nasser said, noting that such initiatives enhance the gains of Bahraini sport and give us the impetus for further work to achieve the visions of HM the King and HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister.

Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association in developing sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
