Brazil hails Brave for progressive steps

ManamaKingdom of Bahrain was praised by athletes and the MMA community for the initiatives led by Brave Combat Federation for the development of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in Brazil. 

Brazil is set to host the eleventh edition of Brave Combat Federation at Belo Horizonte. Till date 35 fighters from Brazil have competed in events hosted by Brave and has come with a 70 per cent finish ratio while maintaining 90pc win rate by Brazilian fighters. 

The initiatives brought forward by the promotion was appreciated by the legends of the sport including Wanderlei Silva, Frankie Edgar and Cris Cyborg. The events hosted gave exposure to the initiatives by Bahrain in the region and helped to develop business relations and cultural exchange.  

Till date Brave Combat Federation has two champions crowned from Brazil. This includes Klidson Farias de Abreau from the Light Heavyweight division and Carlston Harris from the Welterweight division. 

Klidson Farias de Abreau will be defending his championship against Matt Baker during Brave 11. 

Klidson will become the first champion from Brazil to defend his championship. 

The main event is also unique due to the inclusion of two Brazilian fighters fighting for the Interim Championship title for the first time in the history of the promotion. 

The fight night will take place on April 13 at Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
