Ali and John K. lift Men’s Doubles title
Manama : Games played last night in the Mixed Doubles semis of the 69th Open Tennis championship, Eric and Aleina beat Avneet Singh and Kalpaka 6-0, 6-3.
In the other Mixed Doubles semis Emirisk and Lana beat Alvin and Marila 6-0, 6-2.
In the last Doubles Men’s finals of last night Ali Asfoor and John K. downed Nalan Chokoppa and Ahmed Jaffar in a 3 set thriller 4-6- 6-4, 10-8 lifting the title.
In yesterday’s matches, the ladies finals Lana M. beat Aleina Alex 6-0, 6-1 to lift the ladies singles title.
In the Veterans Pereira beat top seed and defending champion Stalin Joseph 6-0, 6-7, 10-5 to lift Veterans Singles title.
The Men’s Singles finals is underway and the grand finale will take place tomorrow at 5pm with Super Doubles finals, Mixed Doubles finals and Super Singles finals followed by awarding.
