Social media misuser arrested
Manama : Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security said that Ayman Mohammed Khalid Ibrahim, 20, had been arrested while attempting to leave the country after misusing the means of communication and leaking data and information through the media that defame others.
He explained that the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security had launched search and investigation into the case, which resulted in the identification of the suspect, and after the issuance of an arrest warrant, he was arrested.
He pointed out that the legal procedures are underway ahead of referring the case to the Public Prosecution.
