Horse Pride Horsejumping Championship concludes
Manama : The Horse Pride Horsejumping Championship concluded on Friday after a large participation, held at the Military Sports Association.
Sponsored by Horse Pride for Equestrian Equipment Company, the event was a huge success following the strong performances showcased throughout it. The Championship included different categories with Mayoof Al Romaihi winning back-to-back youth categories.
The first youth event featured obstacles measuring 85-95cm and Al Romaihi clocked in 33.24 seconds to defeat his competitors. Featuring obstacles measuring 95-105m, Al Romaihi doubled his victories after collecting 44 points, clocking 32.74 seconds.
Meanwhile, five competitions were held for senior participants as part of the Championship, with Hussain Al Fordusi winning the first one, while Mayoof Al Romaihi grabbed a third title on the day by winning the second contest for seniors.
The third one was for female athletes and Grace Rodney emerged victorious. Salman Faraj won the fourth competition for senior athletes, while Basel Al Dossary stormed to victory in the last event.
