Arab summit boosts regional stability: PM
Manama : The Arab Summit, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dhahran, plays a key role in fostering cooperation between the Arab countries and boosting efforts to maintain regional security and stability, said Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
This came as HRH the Premier received senior officials, intelligentsia, journalists and citizens at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
HM the King’s presidency of Bahrain’s delegation to the summit, PM said, clearly shows Kingdom’s support to all efforts made to bolster Arab solidarity and unity.
“The current regional challenges increase our strength and determination to preserve national security and stability,” HRH the Prime Minister affirmed, urging to hold on to national unity to shape a more prosperous future.
Prince Khalifa stressed that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, will maintain its pioneering regional and international status and head into a phase of more growth and development.
The Premier underlined the government’s keenness to achieve the aspirations of HM the King by improving citizens’ welfare and carrying out more development projects.
Praising the strong texture characterising the Bahraini community, and underscoring keenness on reaching out to citizens, HRH the Premier lauded the one-family spirit binding the Bahraini people and their cohesion which, he said, “have always helped overcome challenges targeting national unity.”
