King reviews national issues

ManamaHis Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Al-Sakhir Palace yesterday.

HM the King reviewed a number of national issues aiming to serve the national action march, push the development and modernisation further for the best interests of the nation and the citizens.

HM King Hamad expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for the dedicated efforts they are exerting to serve Bahrain and consolidate its progress, as well as for their strenuous continuous endeavours to enhance the performance and work of the government to bring about more achievements and gains across various sectors.

HM the King lauded the “constructive” resolutions issued by the 29th Arab Summit (The Al-Quds Summit”, hosted recently by sisterly Saudi Arabia.

Such resolutions will strengthen joint Arab action, and serve the just causes of the Arab Nation, HM the King said, praising the great efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to ensure the success of the summit.

His Majesty the  King Hamad highlighted the success of the “Joint Gulf Shield 1”, recently hosted by Saudi Arabia, lauding the effective and positive participation of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) in the joint  military drill.

HM the King hailed the competence, high morale, bravery and combat readiness shown by the BDF personnel throughout the joint drill’s phases.

HM King Hamad stressed the pivotal role played by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of King Salman, noting that it is an essential pillar of regional and global stability and security, and enjoys a distinguished status.
