Al-Hilal aims to set up eight more healthcare facilities this year

ManamaAl-Hilal Health Care Group plans to add six more healthcare facilities by the end of this year. 

The group will add four new additional facilities to its existing facilities - Al Hilal Hospital Muharraq and Al Hilal Multi-Specialty Medical Center in Riffa. 

“The expansion starts with the inauguration of Al Hilal Multi-Specialty Medical Center Manama tomorrow. This will be followed by facilities at Salmabad, Hamad Town, Saar and Hidd. Two more facilities in addition to the six will soon be announced,” said Abdul Latheef director of Al-Hilal Health Care Group.

“Al-Hilal is pursuing its plans to extend its services to areas far away from Muharraq, Manama and Riffa where patients are finding it difficult to travel. Another couple of branches of the hospital is due to be established by the end of 2018. The proposed branches will be located in Salamabd, Saar, Hamad Town and Hidd which will provide the complete spectrum of Multi-Specialty clinical services. Al-Hilal Hospital in Muharraq and the Medical centre in Riffa is currently accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI)-The gold standard in Healthcare accreditation. The Manama Medical Center will pursue plans for JCI Accreditation Certification to etch its name for quality and standard of its services,” he said.

“We are present in other countries of GCC under the Banner of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals and Medical centres. Together we are one of the largest healthcare service providers in GCC with a clinical talent pool of 500 Doctors, 2500 paramedical team and present in 22 centres. “Today we take pride in announcing the launch of our third centre, by which we will now be having a combined strength of more than 100 Doctors and 150 Paramedical teams. This will add up to be one of the largest clinical workforces in the Private healthcare sector in the Kingdom.
