Information Ministry wins two awards
Manama : The Ministry of Information Affairs has won two awards at the 19th edition of the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunis. The Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) organised the event on April 26-29.
Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs, Abdullah Khalid Al-Dossary, took pride in the honouring of the Bahraini media, saying it accentuates its development and awareness mission in line with the directives of Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi to disseminate noble values and address national issues objectively and transparently to achieve national interests in the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al-Dossary extended thanks to the national media figures who participated in the radio and TV programmes that competed in the festival for fulfilling their duties.
