Bahrain to attend pan-Arab meeting on water
Manama : Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza has left for Kuwait to participate in a meeting of the Arab Ministerial Council for Water.Ministers concerned with water issues in the GCC and Arab countries and the heads of specialised organisations in the water sector will attend the meeting, being held on the sidelines of the Third Arab Water Conference under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait.It is being held under the theme “Arab Integration in Water Resources Management”. Dr. Mirza will speak about the strategic steps taken by Bahraini government regarding water issues, the unified water strategy, and the importance of water resources.
