RCSI Bahrain celebrates medicine class of 2018
Bahrain : The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain) recently celebrated the outgoing medical class of 2018 during the annual School of Medicine Dinner. University faculty, staff and alumni joined almost 100 senior students, as they took a look back at their journey through medical school, following their final exams last week.
During the event, RCSI Bahrain’s Head of School of Medicine and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Joe McMenamin spoke warmly of the departing students, congratulated them on their achievements and wished them the very best of luck in their future careers. A number of academic and extracurricular awards were presented on the night, including the annual RCSI Bahrain Intern Award, presented to 2017 graduate, Dr Abrar Alnasheet from Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC).
RCSI Bahrain’s ninth Conferring Ceremony will take place on June 27th, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, with more than 200 students set to graduate in medicine and nursing.
