3 Asians held for selling banned tobacco in Bahrain
Manama : The Director-General of Northern Governorate Police announced on Thursday the arrest of three Asians for possessing and selling a banned type of tobacco.
The Interior Ministry official said that after the department was tipped-off about the case, an investigation led to identifying and arresting the suspects while delivering the products. The banned items were confiscated from the accused, said Interior Ministry sources. The Director-General said that the legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
