Cleaner arrested for stealing jewellery worth BD10000
Manama : Police have arrested a 41-year-old man, who was working as a cleaner at a company operating at Bahrain International Airport, for theft.
The man, according to the Director-General of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, stole a jewellery worth BD10000.
Four others were also arrested for assisting the man in committing the crime.
The perpetrators were arrested after Bahrain International Airport Police Directorate launched an investigation into the incident based on a complaint received.
Investigators, the directorate said, caught the man red-handed with the stolen jewellery.
The seized materials were handed over to the concerned security directorate to complete legal proceedings and to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
