Ministry directed to supply needed medication
Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has directed the Health Ministry to fast-track providing needed medications to hospitals in the Kingdom. He ordered the Health Ministry to determine the needs of hospitals for medications and provide them immediately, especially those needed for surgeries, including organ transplantation.
HRH the Premier’s directives aim to boost the health sector’s ability to cater for citizens’ health needs and provide them with the
needed medical services. Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh expressed deepest thanks and respect to the Prime Minister for his directives which embody his personal keenness and follow-up on citizens’ needs.
She stressed that she had directed the competent officials at the ministry to follow up on provision of medicines and medical requirements for public hospitals and health centres, including mainly medication used in organ transplantation.
