The government honoured the BDF warriors for keeping the kingdom safe.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday highlighted the vital role played by the BDF in protecting Bahrain’s safety, security and sovereignty. This came as he held an Iftar banquet for a number of senior officers at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Officers’ Club. The Crown Prince was welcomed by the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant General Yousif Al Jalahma, the BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi, the Commander of the Royal Guard Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and a number of senior BDF officers. The Crown Prince went on to praise the BDF’s efficiency and combat readiness, supported by HM King Hamad, and its contribution to protecting regional safety and security in partnership with Bahrain’s allies. He exchanged best wishes with the BDF Commander in Chief and senior BDF officers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and commemorated Bahrain’s fallen servicemen. HRH the Crown Prince also saluted those BDF personnel who are currently serving overseas, and wished for their safe return. On behalf of the BDF, the Commander-in-Chief expressed best wishes to HRH the Crown Prince on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and on Kingdom’s further development under the leadership of HM King Hamad, supported by the government led by HRH the Prime Minister. Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa accompanied HRH the Crown Prince during the banquet.
