An all-women volunteer group from Bahrain set to visit all Syrian refugees camps across Turkey
An all-women volunteer group from Bahrain is set for a rare odyssey. They will be visiting Hatay Refugee Camp, one of the largest Syrian refugee camps in Turkey to provide relief to thousands devastated by the social unrest in Syria.
The trip organised and lead by the Bahrain Medical Aid is chaired by Dr Mohd Ayed and Dalal Amin. It aims to raise awareness on the sufferings of people following social unrest in countries such as Syria.
The members of team are Haifa Adwan, journalist & TV reporter, Hamsa Saeed, life & organisational coach, Fatima Al Attawi, fashion designer & health advocate, Dalal Amin, executive manager of Bahrain Medical Aid Association, Reem Saif Mohammed, news anchor and reporter, Afnan Mahmood Alzamrooni, biomedical scientist, dentist Dr Dana Shweimat and Reem Yunes Al Jamea, founder of CAMPINYA.
