6 Terror suspects were sentenced to life in imprisonment
The Fourth High Criminal Court has sentenced six suspects to life in jail for causing an explosion apart from attempted murder and damaging properties, said Chief of Terror Crime Prosecution Advocate General Chancellor Ahmed Al Hammadi. According to court details, the Public Prosecution received a notification from the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) on an unauthorised rally in Deraz. While trying to handle the situation by the security officers, a blast occurred and two security officers were injured. A prompt investigation was launched to identify the perpetrators and results showed six suspects were involved in the incident.
