Bahrain’s Female DJ Becomes First in Middle East to Win International Accolade
Bahrain’s musical talent is getting international recognition as popular local DJ ‘Leila Sohrab’ has become the first female in the Middle East with an accredited certificate from U.K. for advanced djing techniques and music production. Sharing her excitement over this massive accolade, she said “I am feeling very emotional right now.”
Born and raised in Bahrain, Leila had decided at the age of 18 that she will pursue her passion and ever since then, she has performed memorable sets in Bahrain,UAE,Saudi, France and Italy, allowing her to showcase her musical ingenuity at more than 35,000 events.
This title will certainly shine the spotlight on the island’s capability to produce great talent who will be recognized by the whole world.
