BCCI receives 682 applications for panels
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) yesterday announced that the period for receiving applications for various committee members for the 29th session has ended.
So far, it received a total of 682 applications, of which 134 were incomplete.
BCCI revealed that the total number of applications it received from women were 58, constituting 11 per cent of the total number of applicants.
The total number of non-Bahrainis applicants were 56, 10 per cent.
The chamber affirmed that a special committee has been assigned to review the applications and make a recommendation.
Committees which received applications included Industry and Energy, Real Estate and Construction, Transport and Logistics, Health, Finance, Food, Technology, Hospitality and Tourism, as well as Education.
