e-service in trouble!

Technical issues are continuing to disrupt eGovernment services in the Kingdom, which the authority when enquired, attributed to a system upgrading process. “The defect continues for the past three days,” Abdulaziz Ahmed, a Bahraini citizen, told the Tribune. “Some of the services are inaccessible, while others can’t be completed after logging in,” he added. Another disgruntled citizen, Yahya, told us that he could have finished the task long ago, “if I had done it manually.” Calling on the authority to quickly resolve the issue, Hashim Murad told the Tribune: “We are tired of going and checking the services.” “We are still waiting for a solution to the problem,” he complained. The authority responds The authority, on its website, has issued an apology for the disruption saying: “We are currently updating the electronic channels.” Confirming the disruption, the statement said, “The services will be available soon, we always strive to serve you better.” However, considering the growing number of complaints, the Tribune decided to notify the authority regarding the issue. In an exclusive statement to the Tribune, the authority confirmed that the work is still underway to solve the problem and that a notification will be issued “immediately after resolving the issue”.
