Cylinders filled with danger, plan to move gas filling shops to industrial areas gains momentum
Security committees at the Capital Governorate are considering a plan to move gas filling shops from residential areas to industrial areas.
Many residents across the Capital have expressed fears over the possible dangers caused by these shops.
Most of these shops are located in densely populated neighbourhoods across the capital in areas such as Naim, Hoora and Gudaibiya, increasing the danger.
The tenth meeting of the security committee chaired by Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, discussed the importance of transferring these shops to industrial areas to ensure the safety of residents.
