Premier directs Health Ministry to boost medicine stocks
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, chairing the Cabinet yesterday, issued directives to stock enough medicines at Salmaniya Medical Complex and health centres in the best interest of citizens. HRH the Premier directed the Health Ministry to give top priority to patients’ health by providing top quality medical services and medicines and ensuring good management of resources and administrative procedures. This came in the backdrop of a report submitted by the Health Minister, which said the government had spent BD50 million to purchase drugs from different companies.
