BD7,000 payout for child accident victim’s family
A Bahraini family was ordered to be paid BD7,000 in compensation for the death of their two-year-old daughter. The victim was killed in a road accident caused by a Bahraini driver. The family’s lawyer Zainab Sabt said that the High Civil Appeals Court ruled in favour of the plaintiffs, and also ordered the imprisonment of the culprit for three months. The High Civil Court had earlier ordered the insurance company to pay the compensation, which was challenged in the High Civil Appeals Court.
