Warning after bakery ‘sells rotten bread’

Health Ministry has carried out an inspection at a bakery in the Capital after it was accused of selling rotten bread. Hamed Mohammed Al Marwani, Health Ministry Chief of Public Relations, said a team has carried out an inspection after receiving complaints from customers. 

“The bakery was in bad shape. Cleanliness is not being taken care of. The staff were not following the health standards according to the Kingdom’s laws,” he said. The official said that a three day time has been offered to the bakery to fix violations and it will be closed if the management fails to abide by the rules of the Kingdom.
