All Bahraini household heads who draw a salary of up to BD1200 are eligible to receive financial support allowances from the government, according to a joint Parliamentary committee statement.
The move, according to the members of the Parliament and the Shura Council, categorises beneficiaries into four classes based on their monthly wages. However, the final decision on the proposed eligibility criteria will be taken based on voting next week, as the Council failed to reach a consensus on certain issues.
