Drug dealer loses appeal
A Bahraini man involved in selling and consuming illegal drugs lost his plea against a three-year imprisonment sentence.
He was fined BD1000 which was upheld by the High Appeals Court. The defendant reportedly had methamphetamine in his possession, which he intended to sell and use.
Following a tip-off received, anti- drug squad members raided his house and seized several types of drugs. The defendant was busted in 2016.
