400 offered first aid training, 15 certified trainers were at work teaching lifesaving skills
Close to 400 people received first aid training and were certified by the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) in the first half of this year, it was learnt.
Thirty-four training sessions were conducted this year to train 398 people on first aid and all of them obtained International Paramedic Certification following the training.
This comes as part of the society’s goal to help communities feel safer and ensure that help would come quick to anyone in danger or in need, ultimately saving lives.
BRCS Director General Mubarak Al Hadi revealed said that the training is often conducted following requests from institutions, agencies, and government bodies to improve the emergency preparedness and response capacity of its staff.
