Clampdown on trade violations
A number of shops located at Isa Town Traditional Suq are facing legal measures for flouting the commercial regulations.
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism conducted an inspection visit in the market in response to complaints made by some traders and sported the violations.
The clampdown aims at ensuring shops commit to the activities specified in their licences and comply with the commercial rules and regulations.
The ministry took part in the field visits which were organized last Saturday by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Markets Committee across the country.
The ministry reiterated keenness on responding to traders’ remarks, urging full compliance to trade rules and regulations to avoid legal measures.
