Six months jail for consuming drugs
The High Criminal Court sentenced a 58-year-old Bahraini man to six months behind bars along with BD500 fine for consuming drugs.
The defendant was arrested after police received a tip-off, which said he was possessing morphine stuffed cigarettes. Police officers are said to have seized 12 cigarettes from his apartment. They were hidden inside a jacket’s pocket.
