One-year jail for drug addict siblings
Two drug-addict siblings, aged 23 and 22, were arrested following a complaint filed by their mother, according to court files.
The duo were reported to police by their mother after they attacked her and broke her phone. She told police officers that they also had insulted her.
The pair were arrested and their saliva was tested positive for hashish and other types of banned drugs.
“Actually I had a fight with my brother after he insulted me. My sister tried to break up the fight and I punched in her face and my mother called the police,” the 23-year-old man told prosecutors.
He has been already convicted in two other drug cases. The two defendants stood trial before the High Criminal Court, which sentenced them to one year behind bars each.
