Hospital awarded ‘Diamond Status’ in NHRA Accreditation Survey
Manama : KIMS Bahrain Medical Centre (KBMC) has raised the bar in healthcare quality standards by achieving the Diamond Status in the NHRA (National Health Regulatory Authority) Accreditation Survey. The Diamond Status is the highest level of accreditation that is awarded by the NHRA.
With this accreditation, KBMC has achieved quality milestone and is the first medical centre to achieve this feat. This accreditation demonstrates the organization’s commitment to the people of Bahrain and the region in providing the highest quality of healthcare, the hospital said in a statement released yesterday. Dr Sheriff Sahadulla, Chief Executive Officer at KIMS Healthcare Group, said: “It is our great pleasure and privilege to be awarded the Diamond Status for the accreditation by the NHRA. This achievement is a testimony to the high quality healthcare that our organisation delivers and has been made possible by the dedication and hard work of our entire staff.”
“We strive to give our very best to our patients in clinical as well as non-clinical aspects of healthcare. We are very proud of this achievement, but we also feel that quality in healthcare is a process of continuous improvement, and we will not rest on our laurels. Our aim is to continue to raise the level of care we provide to all of our patients.”
The survey was conducted by members of the NHRA, specialised in healthcare accreditation. The KBMC was assessed on accreditation standards based on international best practice to ensure the highest quality of healthcare in a patient safe environment.
