Leading forum to showcase investment opportunities
Bahrain Opportunities Forum, an event aimed at attracting foreign direct investment to the Kingdom will be held in Bahrain later this year. An event similar to the one that was held at the Palace of Westminster in London a week ago would be held in Bahrain.
The event was organised by Former Pakistani ambassador Javed Malik through Diplomat Business Club, to which he is the president of. The event was attended by a high-profile delegation from the Kingdom, including EDB chief executive Khalid Al Rumaihi and other Bahraini businessmen. It was also attended by Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Sameer Nass.
The event was co-chaired by British MP Andrew Rosindell while former British minister Lord George Roberton, MPs, and other UK officials and businessmen were also in attendance.
Mr Nass confirmed that the forum will be held in the third quarter of this year in Bahrain. He added the event would be held twice a year, once in Bahrain and once in another chosen venue.
