Fourteen pieces of “Imprint” drawn by Zahra Al Ahmed has gone on display at the exhibition, representing the beauty of portraits, the emotional expressions on the features and the reflection of life experiences.

This is the first exhibition for the Bahraini artist Zahra and it represents the stages of her journey in art, wherein she chose to only display portraits of people who had an effect on peoples’ lives and who left an influence on their minds, souls and personalities.

Speaking to Tribune, Zahra said, “I have been always drawing and painting portraits but have never challenged myself to exhibit my work and paint on such a large scale.

“The exhibition is called ‘Imprint’ wherein I tried to portray different individuals who have lived great lives and have inspired many individuals.”
