South Korea ties in focus
Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received an invitation to make an official visit to South Korea. This came as HRH the Premier received, at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, the South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain, Koo Hyun- Mo, who handed over to him a written message from his Korean counterpart, inviting him to visit his country.
The meeting reviewed relations between the two friendly countries, and their shared desire to bolster bilateral cooperation in various fields. HRH the Prime Minister said that the Republic of Korea’s remarkable progress in the economic, developmental, technological and industrial levels and its good relations with various countries of the world have strengthened its international standing.
HRH Premier stressed that the four-decade Bahraini-South Korean cooperation has achieved outstanding success, noting that the kingdom is pleased to be among the first countries in the region to have multiple cooperation fields with South Korea. The Prime Minister reviewed with the ambassador the progress of the Bahraini-South Korean relations of friendship, stressing Bahrain’s interest in bolstering bilateral cooperation and coordination in various fields.
