Stand-up comedians to tickle funny bone
The Stand Up Comedy Society in Bahrain in coordination with the 7th Wave Performing Arts School will be hosting the stand up comedy auditions today at the 7th Wave Performing Arts School, providing a platform for young stand up comedians to showcase their talent.
The auditions will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm, and any participant can come and register for the audition. The main purpose of this audition is to give the opportunity to the people in Bahrain and Saudi to perform in three different shows, the organisers said.
Speaking to Tribune, Giulia Tuzzi, programme coordinator of the 7th Wave Performing Arts School said, “The initiative comes from the Stand Up Society and its founder Abdulla Nezar.
The aim of the Stand Up Society is to have its community showing its strength by gathering the best materials while giving to new talents the opportunity to emerge in a relaxed environment.
