Revamp work underway at Tubli Sewage Plant
A comprehensive revamp work is underway at Tubli Sewage Plant with the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning signing seven contracts worth BD682,647.
The contracts cover installing state-of-the-art equipment and machineries, increasing sludge production, repairing centrifuges and maintenance of dryers apart from boosting standards to global levels. The revamp works are being carried out in line with the Economic Vision 2030.
Works Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Asma Murad said many routine contract were also awarded for maintenance works at the plant.
“The revamp work is part of the strategic vision of the Works Ministry to improve the services provided to citizens while meeting International standards,” Ms Murad pointed out.
