INTERCONTINENTAL REGENCY BAHRAIN WINS HR AWARD

One of the leading 5-star hotels in the Kingdom, InterContinental Regency Bahrain, won the Specific Council For Training and Development Bahrainization Award for its Human Resources Department’s distinguished record in terms of training and developing the skills of Bahraini nationals.

Manager of the hotel Mohammed Sanad said the award is a recognition of their efforts in training and developing the skills of the Bahrain Youth. “We believe ourselves to be an integral part of the local community and we are dedicated to continue empowering Bahraini nationals with the necessary vocational training and skills mindset to assist them in furthering progress of their careers in the hospitality industry,” he added.

The Specific Council For Training and Development Awards Ceremony is an annual event, held to honour the outstanding hospitality establishments in Bahrain. There are over 4,800 InterContinental Hotels and Resorts around the world with a further 1,261 hotels in the development pipeline globally.The awards ceremony was held recently at Crowne Plaza Bahrain, under the patronage of the Minister of Labour Jameel Humaidan.
