Bahrain ‘now a global platform for developing MMA talent’

Bahrain has become a global platform for MMA talent development, something which no other country or organisation has managed to do, according to a senior Brave Combat Federation official.

Through the mixed martial arts organisation Brave Combat Federation founded by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain has earned a reputation for being a place for nurturing young MMA talents, Brave Combat Federation President Mohammed Shahid told Tribune. He said that HH Shaikh Khalid’s vision of creating a platform to help talents around the world reach their potential is coming true through Brave which is now the fastest growing MMA promotion.

According to him, no other MMA promotion has been able to create a platform to support talents from around the world in the way that Brave has.

 “MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world and when you have a sport that is growing at this pace you expect to have a platform that the whole world can rely on. Today in MMA we have promotions that are so big, multi-billion dollar promotions, but they are not truly global despite having global attention, because they lack a platform for worldwide talent to come and make a name for themselves.
