5,625 Bahrainis set to perform Hajj
Saudi Arabia announced on Friday that more than 1.2 million pilgrims arrived in the holy land to perform Hajj pilgrimage, which is an increase of 70,000 or seven per cent when compared to last year.
According to Bahrain Hajj Mission, 5,625 Bahraini pilgrims will perform Hajj this year after the Bahraini quota was raised by 1,000.
Speaking to Tribune, Shaikh Adnan Al Qattan, head of Bahrain Hajj Mission, urged all pilgrims to follow the instructions given by Saudi Hajj authorities.
