Witness set to testify in BD700,000 fraud case
A prosecution witness will take the stand on August 27, 2018, to testify in the case of a fraudster pair involved in attempting to con BD700,000 out of a local car dealer.
The duo were earlier sentenced to three years behind bars each by the High Criminal Court.
The pair include a British man and a Turkish woman, who landed in police net after attempting to con a local car dealer out of luxury cars worth BD700,000 using counterfeit credit cards, according to court files.
