Bahrain’s initiative successful in Africa
Bahrain hosted the first mixed martial arts event in Morocco which marked the launch of Brave Combat Federation in Africa.
The event became an instant success with a fight night that featured 7 knockouts among which was the fastest knockout in the promotion. The main event featured the first Moroccan mixed martial artist to compete in the nation, Ottman Azaitar.
The event became one among the most covered sports events in the Kingdom of Morocco. “The initiative led by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was immensely successful to give the first global exposure for Morocco when it comes to combat sports.
We expect the initiative to attract more global promotions to follow the footsteps of Brave. We are glad to bring athletes around the world to Africa. We intend to follow up this initiative with yet another event in South Africa in December,” said Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation.
