Premier’s directive against fake degrees lauded
Head of the Academic Accreditation Committee Muna Mohammed Al Balushi has expressed thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for the edict to re-form the Committee.
She praised his directives to task the Higher Education Council and its specialised committees to ascertain of the information regarding certificates granted by non-recognised overseas universities and ensure that no one relied on such certificates to qualify to jobs or promotions.
Ms Al Balushi affirmed the ministry’s keenness to carry out the directives of HRH the Premier by taking firm procedures regarding this issue.
