Top voluntary award distribution ceremony set for September
The deadline to receive nominations for best voluntary project in the Kingdom falls on Thursday, it emerged. Nominated projects will be scrutinised to ensure they comply with the award rules and regulations before submitting them to a special jury to decide the winners of the 2018 edition.
The Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa Voluntary Work Award acknowledges best projects submitted by individuals, voluntary teams, private associations and residents. Award Secretary-General Yacoub Bouhaza’a said that the jury which will assess the winning works includes Dr Faleh Al Ruwaily, Ahmed Al Ahmadi and media personality Eman Marhoun.
In a statement released yesterday, he said that the fourth edition is being held under the auspices of Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, lauding the growing turnout of Bahraini youth participating in the competition.
