Haniniya Dialysis Centre to be handed over to MoH soon
The work on Dialysis Centre in Haniniya in the Southern Governorate is almost over and will be handed over to the Health Ministry (MoH) soon, the Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning sources said yesterday.
“The project was supposed to be handed over in mid-August, but delayed due to various reasons,” sources said. All interior and exterior finishing works have been completed, they added.
According to Ahmed Al Khayyat, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning, the establishment of Dialysis Centre was funded by the Saudi Development Fund, within the Gulf Development Programme, at a cost of BD6 million.
The centre includes facilities such as a pharmacy, laboratories, dialysis ward, clinics, administrative offices, rooms for doctors, isolation rooms, a lecture hall, cafeteria, meeting room and others.
The government has allocated a total area of 21.550 square meters to build the centre, while the building area is 8.854 square meters, where the main building consists of two floors with a capacity of 60 beds.
