7,600 students admitted to UoB
A new batch of 7,600 students have been admitted to the University of Bahrain for the academic year 2018-2019.
“All public and private school graduates with an average of 70 per cent and above have been admitted as per the royal directives,” said UoB president Dr Riyadh Youssef Hamza.
In a statement, he said that a total of 8,700 students had applied to join the university – of whom 7,600 met the admission requirements, congratulated students who qualified. According to Dr Hamza, the number of freshmen admitted to the University of Bahrain has increased this year by 26pc, compared with last year’s academic figures.
