Bahrain thanked

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi yesterday thanked Bahrain for its supportive stances. This came as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday visited President Sisi, who was on a visit to the Kingdom, at Gudaibiya Palace. HM King Hamad and President El Sisi exchanged cordial talks, and reviewed the solid brotherly bilateral ties, as well as the steps to be taken to develop the frameworks of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two leaders stressed the importance of continuous joint consultation and coordination for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. They also discussed regional and Arab issues of mutual interest. HM King Hamad lauded the Egyptian President’s fruitful visit to Bahrain, noting that the visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties.

HM the King stressed that Egypt has been, and will remain the essential pillar of Arab and regional security, and that its strength is the strength of all Arab countries. The Egyptian president expressed thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him throughout the visit.

President El Sisi lauded HM the King’s role and keenness to enhance bilateral relations towards outstanding levels, praising Bahrain’s stances in support of Egypt and its people. He wished Bahrain and its people ever-lasting progress and prosperity, under HM the King’s leadership. HM King Hamad hosted a lunch banquet in honour of the Egyptian President. Then, President El Sisi and his accompanying delegation left the kingdom yesterday, wrapping up his official visit to Bahrain.
