Leading forum to discuss cyber security threats facing region
A major forum to help organisations and businesses defeat cyber threats will be held this week. International and regional experts will convene in Bahrain this Tuesday to discuss the latest cyber security threats facing the region.
Cyber-security issues facing the region as well as the threats and opportunities from the development of the blockchain technology will be discussed during the SmartSec Cyber Security and Blockchain Conference 2018.
Held under the patronage of the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs Dr Abdulhussain Mirza, the event will be held at Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain Bay. Speaking to Tribune, Ahmed Al Hujairi, who was speaking on behalf of the organising committee, said that the conference aims to explore the latest trends in Cyber-security and Blockchain.
“It is a two-day event and on the first day we will focus on cyber-security and the latest cyber threats affecting the region. “This is a fast changing sector; there are developments every day so it is important that we stay on top of it. It is critical to note the changes and adapt accordingly.
